It is Slovenia’s exceptionally diverse landscape, which make the »ALPS 2 ADRIA MTB TRAIL« so special! We have drawn the line of TRAIL, which combine the most attractive and perfect mountain bike sites and routes in Slovenia in a week of mountain bike holidays. Come and take a ride!

Starting at the mountain Pohorje in Slovenian Styria, where river Drava cuts it's way between green forest of Pohorje and Kozjak mountain on the north. An mountain bike trail long about 80 km is called »Pohorje trans-route« and it will be just fine for a beginning. ..not to forgot the scenic wine roads in Maribor!

Peca mountain and the single trails paradise at Mountain bike park will surprise you with something you can experience in very few places in the world – a mountain bike tour under the earth surface! The mines of Mežica are waiting to be explored.   

We will touch the emerald waters of Bled Lake, take a look at the magnificent peaks of Julian Alps at the Pokljuka alpine plateau, descend to the magnificent Bohinj lake.

Visit to the world famous Postojna cave is  the finest start to getting know the Slovenian authentic Karst region and single trails and routes of western Slovenia, descending from Karst plateau and ending at the Adriatic sea shore. What and end of a tour...a colorfull & historic city of Piran.

PROGRAM OF THE TOUR:

1.DAY:  ARRIVAL TO SLOVENIA – MARIBOR – BIKE GREEN TOUR & MARIBOR  WINE HILLS
 (bike: app 35 km, 500  - 600 m of total climb)
 

2. DAY:  »A BIKE GREEN POHORJE  ROUTE« AND KARINTHIA - BIKE HOTEL KOROŠ
(bike: app 80 km, app.1500 m of total climb)

3. DAY:  KARINTHIAN  EXPERIENCE: JAMNICA SINGLE TRAIL AREA
(bike: 35– 40 km, up to 1.200 m of total climb)

4. DAY: KARINTHIAN EXPERIENCE: PODPECA MOUNTAIN TRAILS AND BIKE TOUR  - THE »PECA UNDERGROUND«
(bike: 35 – 45 km, up to 1500 m of total climb + 6 km “underground biking in the mine)

5. DAY: PANORAMA DAY: CYCLING ON THE PANORAMIC ROUTE OF THE SAVINJA ALPS -  AND A VISIT TO BLED LAKE   (bike: 40 km, up to 1.500 m of total climb)

6. DAY: ALPINE EXPERIENCE:  BLED- POKLJUKA- BOHINJ -  TRANSFER TO POSTOJNA
(bike: app. 50 km, up to 1.000 m of total climb)

7. DAY: VISIT TO POSTOJNA CAVE  - MTB TOUR » THE WESTERN  KARST EDGE &  ADRIATIC COAST 
 (bike: up to 40 – 50 km, total climb depends on route)

8. DAY:  PIRAN -  A VISIT TO LJUBLJANA –  END OF TOUR

Not included in price:

• Transfer of persons anb mountain bikes from airports (Ljubljana, Zagreb, Vienna,Venice) to hotel and back.
  

• Transfers are organized by appointment with the group. Price depends on the place of arrival and departure. An example of the transfer costs:  LJUBLJANA AIRPORT – MARIBOR HOTEL:  45 € /person/min. 15 passengers + 15 bikes
