Pick up at your hotel reception at:___. After meeting your guide, transfer to Ljubljana and Bled. Arrival at app. 10.30 hrs. Bled was discovered by the tourists in the middle of the 19th century, after a Swiss doctor, Mr. Arnold Rikli, had built a climactic health centre there. Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Alpine region. It is unique with its emerald-green lake, a church on the island in the middle of the lake and a medieval castle from the 11th century, perched on a cliff above the lake. After a visit to the castle and a tour around the lake you can join optional Bled's typical 'pletna' boat to the island (15 €).
In the afternoon visit the capitol of Slovenia. A city of culture and cuisine, boutiques, bars and hidden treasures Ljubljana is an architecturally beautiful city that has 5,000 years of fascinating history. The magnificent Baroque, Renaissance and art nouveau edifices and its old town centre, many charming squares, exude the intimate atmosphere of a small town, while its lively cultural, scientific, educational and business communities leave no doubt that this is a modern city. A walking tour in the old city. Optional a ride with a panoramic funicular to the Ljubljana castle. Visit of the museum on the castle representing Ljubljana's history. Some free time at your disposal, later in the afternoon transfer to Maribor. Arrival at dinner time. End of a tour.

SKOCJAN CAVE, SLOVENIAN COAST AND THE CITY OF PIRAN

Pick up at your hotel reception at:_____. Drive to Ljubljana and further to the Karst region. The Škocjan Caves are on the UNESCO’s list of natural and cultural world heritage sites. Caves are a unique natural phenomenon, the creation of the Reka River. The Reka River springs from below the Snežnik plateau and flows some fifty-five kilometres on the surface. After reaching the Karst, that is the limestone surface, the river not only deepens its riverbed through erosion, but also by means of corrosion – it dissolves the limestone… The tour is approximately three kilometres long and the trail’s lowest point is 144 metres beneath the surface. The cave temperature is around 12°C. Sport footwear and a warm sweater are recommended. After a visit drive to Piran and to Adriatic sea coast. Piran is situated on the peninsula. The buildings are tightly built together with small, narrow streets. The old city core is entirely proclaimed as preservation of ancient historical monument with many churches and part of the walls with preserved entry doors into the old city core. In the Tartini square stands the monument dedicated to a great violinist and composer G. Tartini. The Church of Saint George is situated above the town from there is a beautiful view on the entire Gulf of Trieste. On external part of Piran peninsula is the nice historical city core called Punta. After a guided walk, some free time for leisure. Departure for Maribor at 17.00 hrs. Arrival to your hotel at 20:00 - 21:00 hrs.

Pick up at your hotel reception at:______. Our tour starts with a visit to the Old Vine in Maribor, on Lent. The oldest vine in the world! From here, the discovery of the Podravje wine Region starts. Ascend to St. Urban, a very panoramic hill over Maribor, from there a Wine road leads to Šentilj, close to Austrian Border. A short stop at Plač. Ascent to panorama tower, ENJOYING view on Slovenian and neighbouring Austrian vine roads. Drive for Jarenina and a Jarenina Castle estate. Here we will visit a larger Dveri-Pax Winery, which produces across 68 hectares. Character full Jarenina Castle itself hosts wine tasting and other events. A very modern wine cellars opened in 2007. On steep hill sites around a Dveri-Pax estate there is a range of vine varietals growing. To name some of them: Laški Rizling (Welschriesing), Renski Rizling (Riesling), Chardonnay, Šipon (Furmint) Sauvignon Blanc, Sivi Pinot (Pinot Gris) Modri Pinot (Pinot Noir), Traminec (Gewürztraminer), Modra Frankinja (Blaufränkisch) Zweigelt.
